You are wise beyond years for asking that question. Money can certainly provide less stress but finding your passion and purpose is going to bring you much joy in your life.
When you find something that excites you with the natural skills you have you will be happier and more successful.
You just have to decide what does success looks like to you? Is it driving a Porsche but stressed out all the time or a Honda Civic with joy in your heart and a bounce in your step.
Early on in my career I was focused on promotions but was stressed out all the time. Made good money too. Now I'm making half what I used to make and I've never been happier in my career. Took me 20+ years to figure that out. Don't follow my example. 😝 Find your passion and purpose while determining what your natural talents are and you will soar!
Good luck! You'll do great things if you stay focused on the important things in life.

I do agree with you. I was never interested in engineering for the money. Actually, the money isn't that great compared to the work you put into it. However, it is very rewarding in other ways.
