Is a Humanities Transfer program or a Social Science Transfer program good for a Psychology major?
I'm going to a two-year college then transfer to a 4 year college and I want to know which transfer programs would be a perfect match. #psychology #college-transfer #college #college-admissions

Hi Aisha,
It will depend on the school and the type of psychology you are interested in. There are benefits to both. From my experience I have found that most students studying Psychology usually enter humanities when they are interested in psychology that focuses on teaching/learning/ developmental psychologies. Students entering psychology that focus on the social sciences are usually more interested in the psychology that intersects with sociology. Ultimately it depends on the university you are applying to and what you see yourself doing more. Hope this helped!

Hello, it depends on the university you are transferring. Look at the undergraduate degree offered at the university of its a Bachelor of Arts then you would want to get an Associate of Arts. Also talk to an advisor at the community college then can help too. They will advise you on classes to take and a good major.
