Biggest tips on becoming an animator is to practice your craft and always keep learning and studying. Keep striving to better your skillset to market yourself to possible studio jobs.
Network with as many people as you can in the industry and join any online forums or animation conventions you can.
Contact local studios to see what they look for when hiring animators. Try to get an internship to help learn studio pipelines.
