Our clinic charges $90/60 min and $120/90 min with options for an annual membership that gives them 20% off of each visit as well as packages that bring the cost down to $68/60 min and $92/90 min (cash or check) which is much more affordable. I start my therapists at $35/hr and they increase to $40/hr after 90 days. plus tips. I also have a weekend shift differential of an additional $5/hr. Some of my therapists make $1000 every 2 weeks and some make $2500/every 2 weeks, it depends on how many hours a week they work plus their tips.

Per Indeed the average massage therapist in the US earns 30.12/hr. However, this is not a static number and your experience will likely be different as years of experience will play a factor in pay. Are you working for yourself and building your own clientele? Then the opportunity for growth is much higher, but so is the risk. You'll have to build your business from the ground up, and with that comes the risk of losing everything. Are you working for as a contractor? Then they'll take a cut of your potentially pay but you'll have the benefits of having a physical location and the company's name will help bring in customers for you. It all depends on what you want to do. If you have the start-up income, time, and drive to do so, you could definitely look to build your own business. If you're starting out and don't have any experience, you could contract and get some experience under your belt. Treat your clients well and who knows, maybe once you start your own thing they'll follow you along!
