Can I finish my Graduate at an Ivy league after attending ASU online
I am getting my bachelor of software engineering from ASU. But I am still planning to finish my PhD in an ivy league such as Havard or Carnegie Mellon. Can someone tell me if these will accept my degree as a valid one?

Depends on whether or not your online courses are with an accredited school. Also depends on your grades.

This is a tricky question. I highly recommend contacting the office of admissions for the Ivy League schools that you are targeting. They would be able to give you all the accurate information.

Hi Vidhi,
As long as, the program is accredited by the US Department of Education, your bachelor of engineering should be accepted by the office of admissions. However, as mentioned in the above answer, I would definitely check with the individual schools.
Also since the application process for PhD programs in Ivy League schools is very competitive, after confirming your status with the admissions office, I would recommend identifying a couple of potential mentors from each program and contacting them via e-mail starting with the one whose research interests you the most. You can mention your interest in their research and attach your CV. Most faculty members begin their search for their future students long before the application process. Starting the communication will allow both sides to determine whether it is a good match or not.
