Find a community where you can learn and get support. This could be on-line or where you live (more difficult during Covid times yes). Learn all you can about different types of music, including Rap. Learn about the legal ways to use sampling. Have a story to tell and never stop refining your craft.

Hi Michael,
That is so amazing you want to be a rapper. I am confused what you are asking in your question. To become a rapper you do not have to go to college. Although getting a degree in business or music education would definitely be helpful. A business degree would help you learn how to make a business for yourself and how to advertise yourself to others. There are many great schools across the country that have wonderful music programs.
