I always came home tired but I felt like had a made a difference most days. Go in each shift with the attitude that you're there to make others feel better and happier then follow through that attitude with each patient. Work hard to make the nurses, doctors and other employees happy too and you will have more good days than bags.

I can honestly say I do enjoy respiratory care, every specialty that I was able to rotate in school I enjoyed. Of course, there are certain aspects of each that can be tough to deal with, but it's
a very rewarding job because you spend more time with each patient that any other specialty.
