How do you measure success in this position for a medical practitioner?

Hi Tim,
This is an interesting question! I think this is a very subjective question, since everyone has a different idea of success. For example, if you work in a hospital you might want to save or help as many patients as you can. Maybe you will set a goal for yourself to to decrease a certain amount of diseases, etc. However, if you own your own practice maybe your goal is to increase your patient load and see more patients or hire a physician assistant, etc.
