Are you ever scared of getting shot or being in danger ?

I would say this if being a police officer is your passion. Then think of your "why" for doing this job because there is always that element of danger but the payoff of protecting families and friends is rewarding.

Yes, you have to always be aware of the dangers around you. And, just because people don’t regularly see them does not mean they don’t exist. A trained eye recognizes danger much quicker than the untrained eye.
For me, staying aware of my surroundings is what helps keep me safe. Situational awareness keeps many people safe. Driving, shopping at the grocery store, even going to the park all take a level of awareness to stay on track. Doing this consistently helps keep people safe, and eventually, creates safer communities.
