Walt’s Answer

Hi Daniel,

I am a Director of Product Engineering for a healthcare company in Virginia.

What that means is I manage a lot of people who build computer software. My company builds software that helps people and their doctors to get the best care to stay healthy. Managing people means that I help them to get hired into the company, I help them to learn their jobs and get trained in new things that interest them, I help them solve problems that may keep them from doing their jobs, such as helping them to get a broken laptop fixed. Lastly, I make sure that the money my company is spending on developing software is available to my teams so they can buy the things they need to get their work done.

Hope that helps you.

Go-to-market covers all activities that Iead us to new users, and improving the experience for existing ones. Specifically, I'm responsible for our marketing and partnership activities as well as working closely with our engineering teams to ensure that we're responding to the feedback we receive from our users. Every day is a little different, and I am constantly learning which I really love.
