What do you look for when you're creating a new design.

I am interested in becoming a lighting designer within the entertainment industry for things such as, concerts, television, tours, movies, and any other miscellaneous corporate events come my way.
For the past couple years I have been able to learn some of grandMA2 by playing around with it and have learned to build looks and effects to program weekend services and special events.

Edward’s Answer

Find someone that is real good at what they do and try to mimic their skills. Don't be afraid to start at the bottom and work your way up.

Cecilia’s Answer

Sounds like it's time for you to seek out an internship or similar opportunity for you to put your grandMA2 knowledge to practice in a real-life scenario. Get some hands-on experience in an actual venue even if there are no people present at first. Good luck!

Cecilia recommends the following next steps:

Reach out to local professionals in the field and ask if you can be their assistant or shadow them in their next event.
