Yes, there are many sources available if you are willing to learn. First decide what language you want to learn. There are plenty of languages like C,C++, Java, .net, python, perl etc.
For a beginner i would recommend to go through C. As it is a foundation level course. You can refer the below link which has some PDF books.

Also you can find many videos in you tube and study materials in google which would definitely help you.

Yes! There are tones of material online. Just search it! I would recommend you to start with Java and C++.
Beginner tutorials are all over the web. Start there but realize that in order to use and apply best practices you may have to pay for an intermediate course once your feel comfortable. Topics like security, standards and scaling cannot be learned from free courses.
