Not to discourage you, but becoming a Supreme Court Judge is harder then making it into the NFL or NBA because only a couple openings may come up in a decade, sometimes less. You need to not only be a stellar lawyer, have a stellar record as a district judge and as a circuit court judge, but also be in the right place at the right time.

That said, I think it's a great dream and aspiration to hold. It will cause you to think long and hard about the ways our law are being correctly interpreted and handled and perhaps the ways in which you can make a huge difference.

Steps:
1) Work hard in HS, go to a decent college, and then work really hard in college (law schools say the major doesn't matter so pick something you like so you'll excel at it, but if you're confident you can be disciplined enough to excel in many things choosing a more challenging major will give you access to better schools).
2) Go to a law school and try really hard not get kicked out (they wash out about 1/4-1/3 of the class). After you graduate pass the bar exam and get started working in the govt. or for a law firm.
2.5) From this point on, if you're still serious about wanting to become a supreme court judge you probably want to be careful about expressing strong and controversial opinions as being picked for the supreme court can sometimes hinge on playing politics (aka. crafting your image to look like what they want, so you don't want ghosts from your past limiting your ability to do so)
3) Experienced and successful lawyers will occasionally be nominated/elected to be judges.

4) Successful judges who skillfully take on more complex cases gradually are promoted to higher courts.

5) Get lucky, you may have to play politics a bit, and you might just wind up as a supreme court justice.
6) Please step down when you become infirm and are too old to fulfill you're duties;)
