You can look up Cosmetology Schools in your area and find out what careers in cosmetology they are training their students for. You can also check out this article I found for you. https://medium.com/@nailshare/best-and-fastest-growing-careers-of-2019-in-the-beauty-industry-842ce4b9588c#:~:text=With%20this%20in%20mind%2C%20nail,than%20average%20than%20most%20industries.

Good Morning!

You may want to check out the websites for local cosmotology schools. They will most likely have a list of the programs they offer. You also may want to set an appointment at one to talk to an expert about the different programs to narrow down your search.

Hi Quaterya,

Do you already have a sense of what you would like to do? What do you see in your mind when you image the work? You may not know what you are good at, which is okay. I would just recommend making sure that you consider what you already do well or something that you would be excited about. I would say that you should go to cosmetology school and explore all of the options that are available to you. I actually asked my hair dresser why she didn't explore some of the options that she had in cosmetology school. She said that she had an affinity for hair that she didn't feel with doing nails or make up or other options that are out there. Yet there are others in the salon where she works who offer more services because they have more skills that they can share with their clients.

What particular part about Cosmetology brings you the most joy? If you had to do it all day long and wouldn't get tired of it, what would that be?
