You'll need to treat it like your future career, be prepared to watch hours and hours of films and sets. Are you currently playing for your school's team? How's your shooting? If you aren't a genetic freak of nature or naturally skilled, you can improve through training, film, and hustle. Hustle is what will set you apart from the rest of the pack. Coaches and scouts will notice the man who lights up, but they also pay attention to people that leave their man open or forget to box out. Fundamentals and effort are extremely important, most people can't coast on talent alone. All the greats have hustle. If you want to be a great player, play the game the right way. Box your man out, hustle for rebounds or loose balls, be prepared to take a charge, know when to defer, read scouting reports and know your matchup, etc. I don't know what position you're playing but I assume you'd be either a guard or a small forward. You can probably use your size to post up against smaller guards for some easy buckets. Whether you are a genetic freak or not, you can still make the league if you are great at your role, whether that's a 3 and D or a rebounding beast. Jimmy butler is an excellent example of someone who went from homelessness, to struggling for a bench spot, to leading the Miami Heat to the finals for the first time in half a decade. Jimmy wasn't a Lebron, he didn't come in the league with eyes on him or natural talent. But he played hard, he studied film, and he became one of the best players in the league through willpower and training. Now I don't know what your situation is, but regardless of whether or not you can coast on talent or not, I would advise not to. Talent can only take you so far. Hard work and determination will make you great.
Also, be prepared for the possibility that you won't make the league. It's not a knock on you, you could be the best person on your team until you're 19, but very few people make it. 0.03% of seniors get drafted. You can potentially keep playing elsewhere or get signed as a free agent but yeah it's not a easy career path to aim for. (Unless you've got a 40 inch vertical or are 7 feet tall, in that case your odds of being drafted go up signifcantly

That's great you are looking to make career in professional basketball, it can a challenge to ensure you stand out from the rest of the competition when it comes around for NBA drafts. Here's a article that does a pretty solid job answering your question:
https://lowkeynba.com/become-nba-player/
To paraphrase what's already covered in covered in that link:
- Be at least 19 years old to have finished one year of college education to be eligible for an NBA Draft. If a player with an ambition to play in the NBA decides or cannot attend college for any reason, he can play one year in one of the minor leagues or elsewhere in the world.
- Have a degree of range in the key traits NBA scouts are looking for: Athleticism, Character, Ambidexterity, Versatility, and Body Frame
- Hire a basketball agent
- Have documented history in successful basketball wins, either through promoted video recordings or newspaper articles.
