Hi Diana,
I would say to go on their website and look for student internships/programs and apply for those. That will allow you to get some exposure and meet someone within the field and from there, you can make connections and get more information. Another way is to wait until your school has a career fair to meet someone in the field and ask more questions.
Good Luck!

Hi Diana,
Working for the FBI sounds great. I think that your challenge is going to be to find your place there. The most popular elements of the FBI are those investigators who go out into the field and deal with the criminals. However, any large organization has a wide variety of roles that you can play. So I would say - what would you want to do for the FBI? Is it the crime fighting element with people on the street? Or do you want to use your knowledge of computers to work on cybercrime elements? Workforces like these need Human Resources professionals who pay checks or train on various skills. There are even scientists of various disciplines who support the FBI. You have gotten some good ideas on roles to research from others here. I would challenge you to think - what do you want to do for the FBI? What skills and talents do you have or want to learn to help support the FBI's mission? After figuring out what that is, you should focus on being the best you can be. I would imagine that they can choose from the best of the best to work for them.
