Hi Freed!

I would look at "doggy daycare, boarding, and kennels, as well as animal shelters and groomers (dog bather is usually the entry level position). Several different options come up under a Google search. If you are simply looking for experience, you may consider volunteering. Also don't overlook the pet stores. It will give you a different type of experience, but you will hopefully start learning about the different training aids available and pet nutrition.

Best of luck!

Freed;

I just did a quick google search in Bringham City, Utah animal jobs:

Pet Sitter came up on Career Seeker

Jobilize has Veterinary Assistant and Part Time Receptionist in Perry, Utah -- as a high school student you probably have limited hours, so part time jobs are probably what you need to apply for. But get your self out there apply for Vet Assistant -- go for the interview, if selected. Vet clinics and Doggy Day Cares need individuals who can work night hours also.

Other links came up for Pathway Vet Alliance, Petsmart, and Rover. Rover is an app for walking dogs. My son did it for a little while, it will keep you busy and earn a little money.

Make sure you have a resume together before researching online, as some sites want an upload, while others ask questions. Having all the information handy when going to the site will make you less stressed. Good Luck and Much Applause for trying a career out to see if you will really like it.

I would look into PetCo and ask them what their different employment options are. Even if you can't find a good job right away elsewhere, if you get employed at a large company like this, you can network with coworkers and get to know customers that might be able to open some unexpected doors for you. Volunteer with shelters as well and build connections.
