Hi Kabia-
I am a nurse who has done home health care for clients.
It is always best to have a broad background of skills so working in a hospital first is a good start for your career.
In the home setting, a nurse conducts an assessment and plans interventions. You may assist the client with obtaining vital signs, reviewing medications, and procedures (such as blood pressure check or glucose monitoring).
Home care nurses assist members with managing chronic conditions or discharges after being in a hospital or rehabilitation facility.
Home care nursing is very rewarding. Good luck!
