This is a great time to be thinking of these things, rather than after you've already picked a career and don't like it.
There are a few considerations that come to mind when picking a career path.
The first is how much you really enjoy it. Although you can definitely change career paths in the future, it can be a little difficult, and end up taking a lot more time than if you had picked it from the beginning. So making sure you actually like doing it is key.
The second is based on the kind of lifestyle you are looking to have. This could be salary, it could be benefits, it could the general amount of vacation time, or maybe how much traveling you might have to do for work. There are different paths within a career that focus more or less on some of these. In teaching for example, if you like having your summers free, then teaching K-12 might be a good path. If instead you are interested in working with students one on one, but not having as much vacation time, private tutoring might be the way to go.
Also I would think of what the job outlook for a career choice is. No one knows what the job market is going to look like in 5-10 years, but if you're interested in doing something that is very specialized, it might be useful to know ahead of time if that job is going to become obsolete any time soon.
There are plenty of other considerations for a career, but these are a good place to start.

This is a very good question. Here are some things to think about:
1. What are your interests and passions?
2. What do you think you are good at? What are your skills?
3. What do you find challenging?
4. What are your weaknesses and what do you want to try to work towards?
5. What kind of lifestyle do you want to have in the future?
6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years? What do you think will help you get there?
7. What things do you want from your career? What do you find fulfilling?
