Yeshwanth,
Software engineering is a huge space and it can be overwhelming on where to start.
Ask yourself which human problem you would be interested in solving using technology :
Would you like to build screens folks look at?
Would you like graphics design? Example: game characters, scenery, or objects folks need to interact with?
Would you prefer to build "logic" or solve logic puzzles?
Would you like to move data around and enjoy analyzing data to make decisions?
Once you've answered above, I recommend you look into technology used in the area of interest and try them out. Most software vendors offer tools for free to students so you can try and see which interests you.
Some great examples for you to try added into "next steps", my career happens to be in the bottom two options so I have included some areas you can try to see if you enjoy working with those tools.
To see if you like "logic" type code puzzles you can try: Jetbrains code academy for java https://www.jetbrains.com/academy/
Here's an alternative for microsoft c# https://dotnet.microsoft.com/learn/csharp
And finally, there's a hub for Oracle https://academy.oracle.com/en/oa-student.html
