I think employers look at the extra curricular activities you took part in that's not part of your school experience. In what clubs were you a member? Did you volunteer your time to do charitable work? Did you work through school? If so, the employers will be interested in learning about your experience balancing work with school.
Employers are interested in candidates are enthusiastic about the job opportunity; research the company before you meet with the employer. They want self-starters, and people who display leadership as well as the ability to work within a team.

Employers are looking for individuals eager to learn, that are ambitious, and are able to be flexible to constantly changing environments/strategies. You may/will not have all the answers, but by demonstrating the ambition to learn and grow will get you far! It also helps to show how well-rounded you are; include different activities or achievements that you are involved in.
