Hi Nyeleti. You can do anything that you want to do if you really have a strong desire to do it. I studied computer systems in business in college even though I had never taken a computer class before. However, I really wanted to learn the field and even though the learning curve was steeper for me at the time, I put my all into the studies and graduated 2nd in my class.

Everything that you've stated, you can work on. I'm an introvert but I've studied how to do effective presentations to hundreds of people that who I never met before to further my career. Why? Because I really wanted to further my career. You can work on managing your anger to succeed at your studies if you really want to be successful.

Never feel like you're stuck being where you are now. We grow and we should evolved with that growth. You can do it! However, you must really, really, REALLY want it!

Go, grow and get it!

Good luck!

Esmeralda’s Answer

At my work and at career panels, I have noticed that there is a variety in different personalities in the law profession. I have met relatively soft spoken and shy lawyers who open up when talking to litigants. I think it has a lot to do with your passion and your interest. If you feel passionate about helping people then you will surely open up when speaking with litigants. I think that perhaps your temper can be turned into fuel for this passion. Overall, I believe that if you put your heart into law, or anything you care about, you will succeed!
