How to be a professional lawyer someday?

I'm a serious type of person, both my parents wants me to become a doctor someday, but i don't want too. I love watching movies about being lawyer. #lawyer

Thank you comment icon Hi Kysie, I thought about doing Law myself but I did a work experience week at a practice and did not enjoy it so maybe think about what kind of law you would like practice Corporate, Environmental, personal or Criminal and reach out to a practice to see if you could do a week shadowing people in the firm to see if you would like it. Ma. Edgie’s Answer

Hi Kysie, I have a cousin who really wanted to be a lawyer before, so he did took BS Legal Management during college days. You may also look of a degree that is about "Pre-law" such as BS Legal Management program or AB Political Science program, people i know usually have this college degree. We have colleges and Universities here in the Philippines who offer Degree Program like what I've mention. Take your time to search about what classes or courses you could get if you really want to pursue being a lawyer. I hope this helps.

All the best! I know you're going to be amazing! :)

Erin’s Answer

Hey, Kysie! I just graduated from college in May of 2020 and I received my BA degree in English and Political Science. I am studying for my LSAT in hopes of attending law school within the next two years. Law schools do not require a specific major, but you do have to complete your undergraduate curriculum and obtain a degree. The prerequisites for law school is passing the LSAT with a decent score, writing a personal statement, and getting solid recommendation letters. For more information about law school, visit this website:

Best of luck to you!
