Wael’s Answer

It all depends on you. Maybe when you reach your goal you would find another goal you want to concentrate on. Having a family perhaps or even changing your career.

Hi Tiffanie! Great question! If you have reached your ultimate career goal or position, I do not think you necessarily need to continue to climb the ladder if you are satisfied. But often times goals and dreams change and evolve based on where you are in life. Also, I believe you should always have goals and aspirations in every stage of life, so maybe once you reach your career goals, you have other goals regarding family or health. Hope this answered your question.

Tiffanie! Going up may not be the direction. How about expansion, broader and enlightened as other possibilities. How about adding to your skill sets. How about learning more about becoming financially self reliant. How about exploring and discovering more and different pathways. The last 20 years have created all kinds of innovative technology. What do you think it will look like technologically 20 years from now? Watch Mike Dooley or Kyle Cease on you tube. Being awakened is the next big step!

Maurice’s Answer

Hello Tiffanie, that is a wonderful question and I agree with the aforementioned answers. Being goal oriented is important but passion is equally important. What are you passionate about? You don't want to live a life checking the "goal" boxes. You don't want to look back on another year and see a list of accomplishments and still feel unfulfilled. Don't misunderstand me, goals are good but goals are not the end all be all. Here's why I say that - once you get "there" you will seek another "there" to get to. It becomes a never ending cycle. Goals can leave you drained if you are not careful. This is why I broach the subject of "passion." What are you passionate about outside of your profession? Family? Community involvement? Volunteering? Goals, if not careful, can have you going through the motions to obtain something (again). "I'm going to do this to get to that." Passion however, directs you to connect to something bigger than you to serve a greater purpose that benefits not just you, but those around you. What are you passionate about? Passion drives you! Passion gives you energy! Passion gets you out of bed when it's cold outside! Find your passion and live it out.

Hi, Tiffanie. You ask some great questions! I'd agree. Moving up (in title) may not be the next step. Expanding your knowledge and experience should definitely be. Keep growing!
