As a physical therapist, and having worked in/with hospitals over 20 years, I’d say there are a lot of options! Some of the highest demand healthcare jobs right now, that almost guarantee immediate employment, higher than average salaries, and offer geographic choice, are nursing and physical therapy. Also, due to the current and predicted ongoing nurse shortage, many hospitals will help you repay your nursing school loans!
One of the really great things about pursuing a career in healthcare is that there are many ways to enter the field and then grow your career. For example, many hospitals will provide tuition assistance for nurse aides to pay for their education to become nurses.

Hi Jason! I have had success as a student working as a Medical Scribe. If you’re interested in healthcare and have taken some medical terminology and science courses like anatomy, it can be a great job. Some companies/agencies pay better than others, so be sure to scope around before accepting a position. Good luck to you and let me know if you have any questions.
