I want some advice?
I am currently at the university in the career of Language Pedagogy.
I like languages, but I'm not good at English, every semester I find it harder with my studies. I make an effort in studying pedagogy and learning English, but my academic performance in English subjects has low marks because it makes it difficult for me to understand the classes and perform the tasks. I do my best. But what can I do. I'm not making progress.
Every semester I find it difficult to understand the subjects.

For earlier case, have your ever explored any other courses in other languages ? If you really do not have any other choices, you may need to spend more time on learning English. Practice like reading and speaking is the most more important to learn a language. You can try to read more English books and any chance to speak English, e.g. Find a part time job that needs to speak English. If it really does not help, you may consider to suspend your tertiary study for a while, focus on improving your English first.
For 2nd case, would you consider to practice Pedagogy in other languages? It may make your life easier.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

learning a foreign languages is not always an easy step, especially if this is a general difficulty for you to learn other languages.
By experience , I have learned 3 other languages (mother tong French, and I learned English, German and Dutch).
I succeed in English and German but not really in Dutch.
One of the best way to learn a foreign language is first to study on a regular (daily) basis vocabulary (I made even some recording in the 2 directions) this will help you to have a set of words in your mind for any conversation.
Second, practice , practice and practice, i.e. you need to find someone who is willing to speak with you on a very regular basis and only in the foreign language. Don't try to translate in your mother tong, but find other words to express what you want to say.
Listen to also to Television (without text translation) - I didn't made it so often, but it helps you also to gain some vocabulary
