Taeyoun’s Answer

Any career you want to get into is hard ("hard" is a relative words. your hard and mine differs). Everyone says rocket science is hard, but if you ask a rocket scientist to design a logo for a company, he would say the same thing. Yes, maybe graphic designer don't require much physics compared to engineers, but it will take more depth in color theory and other visual skills.

Simple answer:
If you are good with artistic skills it maybe much easier for you to become a graphic designer (relatively speaking).

You will still have to put in a lot of works and have to design and draw things you don't want to. Also, a good graphic designers have to understand client request including function of the product, utility, theme, color, and need to be able to tell a story/convey a message with their design. This can be very difficult if you are not trained.

Dexter’s Answer

Hi Kyle,

I agree with Taeyoun, but I have a bit a a twist to his answer.

I think in life, things that seem "easy" to us are things that we like and enjoy. So if you like graphics and design, I would say being a graphics designer is pretty easy. I think if it's not what you enjoy, it's a difficult career that will be frustrating to say the least.

Having said that, the life of a graphics designer is one where you constantly need to adapt your style to the needs of the client, so it really helps to be flexible. Also, the tastes of the client changes with current trends, so it also helps to be someone who constantly likes to learn.

Anyways, if you have more questions, please feel free to ask!
