What is the best way to stay organized during the first year of college?

Hello!
My name is Apollonia and I'm from Pennsylvania. I'm about to go into my first year of college and would like to know if it's a difficult task to stay organized while juggling all the responsibilities of living on your own for the first time. #college #college-admissions

It is difficult. Back in college, you have to balance between school, sleep, and fun. You can excel at two but something will always be sacrificed. For me, I kept a calendar and to-do list. I put on my calendar what was due and know how to plan to it. When you start class, put down all your exams, essays, etc. deadlines. Put in the chapters you need to read, etc. This is how I survived in college.

I would suggest not to take Hostel and be a day scholar near your college. This way you will be more active and responsible for your day task. In that way you will be more organised. Initially it will be difficult if you are coming out for the first time. If staying at your own house, you can make a time table and divide your day as per your all day activities. I hope this will help.

Stay on top of everything, manage your time, use Google Calendar like it is your right hand, and buy yourself a planner for eeach year (and use it), and write yourself to-do lists!
