Hi Joe,
Yes, I love my work. I work for myself. It took years to get here. For years, I worked for a company that paid well but did not bring me emotional fulfillment. I suppose I am happy for those years because I was able to save my money, build up a good retirement account, and now able to do the work I love. Now, I help people create their financial roadmaps so that they can have the freedom to do what they want later in life. I will not take away from my earning years. They prepared me for now.

IT Auditing is pretty mundane work, but it provides a lot of career opportunities that I am glad to have and I like learning so many new skills. So, most of the time the work isn't fun, but it's good work and I enjoy the opportunities I gain from it. If you're wanting to make a lot of money from your position, it generally won't be the most interesting or engaging work. Life is more than work though; you can use your income to pursue interesting hobbies and explore the world.
