Husna’s Answer

An athletic trainer should have a Master's Degree in an accredited program. This means that you need to complete a bachelor's degree, which typically requires 120 credit hours (about 40 classes), and then complete a master's degree program, consisting of about 65 credit hours (about 19 classes). Many programs today offer dual bachelor/master degrees in this area, which shortens the amount of time to complete the educational requirements by about one year. Since you are located in Michigan, I have provided a link to a program with more details from Grand Valley State University:

Hope this helps!

Luís’s Answer

I would say the same as Husna. About being a good educator, it's important to do and have experience in the subjects you want to educate. It's important to feel the subject you are working about as an educator is someone who educates towards something he knows it's his expertise. In addition, more than having mental knowledge, it's important to have emotional knowledge and the only way to achieve it is to practice in an engaged way.

Peter’s Answer

If you're athletic, first be an athlete. Play a sport at a high level in high school. If you're fortunate enough to play in college, do it. There's so much free information today on any endeavour you desire, so consume as much as you can about being a trainer. If you're approaching high school, take your Biology and Chemistry classes seriously; learn as much about the human body that you can.
