What does the process for applying to a PA school look like?
I am a current high school senior and will be attending college in the fall of 2021. I am going on the pre-pa track and I would like a little more insight on what my future holds. #high-school #physcianassistant

Hi Kaitlyn,
You're getting a great head start with thinking about this in high school. What you can do in the meantime before college is to shadow PA's to get a sense of what their lifestyle is like. If you are still dedicated to the pre-PA track, then take the required prerequisite classes in college (usually biology, chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, etc.). Anatomy is pretty important in PA schools so I would concentrate on that class as well. While taking classes, also try to find some time to get in your clinical hours because PA schools often require a minimum of 1000-3000 hours. Hope this gave you some insight!
