What College Majors have a high demand in the future?
I'm a junior in highschool (11th grade) and as I start to look into careers and college majors, I asked myself what profession(s) will the future society rely on. I have interest in computer science and would like to pursue it in the future. #college #jobs #careers #future #choosing-a-major

You may start as a contact worker in a facility IT Dept. But can focus your studies on Cyber threats and develop your skills and experience required to become an independent consultant, who will make the most money.

The world is ever changing. 2020 has highlighted fields like medicine and technology as being places where we need great minds to be engaged. However, the best thing that you can do for yourself is find work that you are passionate about doing and focus your efforts there. There are too many people in the world today doing what they think that they should and then failing miserably or just being miserable. I would challenge you to try and be of service to others with whatever you do. There is reward in those jobs that go beyond the money to be earned.

I agree that Computer Science and any STEM-related careers will continue to be popular. But FYI, there are so many fields related to Computer Science. If you are a people person and very organized, you could be a Project Manager or Scrum Master, keeping the software development projects moving forward. If you like to help people but want to be in tech, roles in Customer Success/Support and Technical Support (think of the Apple Genius Bar) of software products will continue to be popular as well. Even complex marketing or financing/billing/procurement OF software are roles that are in HOT demand these days. Basically anything to do with computers is a good place to be in the next many years.
