Candace’s Answer

First off, people look for different things in employees. I do think if you want to succeed in sports, you have to be extremely hard working. You have to be willing to work crazy hours, you have to be willing to start at the bottom as an intern, you have to be willing to network. But if you exhibit this quality of hard work, people will really take notice and you will have opportunities open for you. Nothing bad ever comes out of hard work.

Lou’s Answer

In my opinion, character and integrity are the two qualities that will make you successful. Employers want employees who do thing right. If you have strong character traits and integrity then working hard and all the crazy things the job requires will be nothing for you. If you donot have strong character traits and integrity, you will not last.

Joey’s Answer

Ultimately, it's being passionate about the work. No matter which discipline of the sports industry you work in, the field is extremely competitive and there are many more people that are interested in getting into the industry than there are jobs available.
