Hi Alex,
I will also suggest having a portfolio of your own creations. It will help show your future employers your ability and point of view.

Thank you, Juan! I found this very helpful, and creating a portfolio is a great idea in fact. I could also use an animation software, such as “FlipaClip,” and “Flipnote Studio,” too, and publish it on YouTube, that way I’ll receive others’ point of view and critique my animation.

Hi Alex!!
I had a buddy that worked at Disney when I used to live in FL. What a great company! I can really relate to your inspiration! According to the company website, for animators, Disney looking for a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Animation or related field or equivalent work experience.
You can start researching websites today!! For starters, check out this link - https://www.theclassroom.com/art-restoration-schools-7996836.html
Hope this helps!

Start researching on-line. Check the company website and also start researching colleges.

Hi Alex,
Although I am not in Disney Animation specifically, I do work at Disney Studios. Be sure to apply for the College Program and/or internship. Disney loves to foster talent from within, so you just need to get your foot in the door. An internship is a great way to meet people and learn the job at an early stage.
Be sure to keep up your skills and learn how to animate on as many software systems as possible! Make your own short and put it on social media -- perhaps any traction from it will help you get noticed as well. If you have Disney +, I highly recommend watching the documentary on Frozen 2 and Inside Pixar. It'll give you a great feel for what it's like to work at both companies in Animation.
Hope that helps and best of luck!

Hi Alex!
If you're still in college, I'd highly recommend you look into their College Program. It's a summer internship program in which you get to work at Disney and make a lot of connections. While there, you can ask a lot of questions too!
Beyond that, you can also look at their career site for open positions to see if they have anything in that field open and what the position requirements are.
Best of luck!
