You're not a pro gamer... yet. How to be come pro? The best part is this is your passion! At least it sounds like it!

The steps... Find your best game! Which one are you really good at?
Practice, practice, practice
Like a lot of professions - Study better players and opponents
Have the best equipment
Sign up for contests
Network with other gamers
To be able to support yourself, create multiple revenue streams
Market yourself - This is tied to creating revenue streams as they go hand in hand

So remember... you will need to completely dedicate yourself. Both to the profession and to one game. And realize, it's hard work! However, if you enjoy doing something you won't mind the hard work!
