Social work can be done in various ways at the micro, mezzo, and macro level:
Micro- You can counsel individuals which would include jobs like private practice, school counselor, or case manager
Mezzo- You can work within the community or an organization which would include being a therapist for group therapy
Macro- You can work to change things that impact our society as a whole which would include researching, lobbying, advocacy
Needless to say, social work has plenty of opportunity and room to grow!
