Alok,
Send me your resume, I will buff it up at no charge. ChE is one of the most complex disciplines and high demand during these times.

1. List down the roles you're interested in
Don't limit yourself to typical roles that a Chemical Engineer takes up. The idea here is to get a sense of what you really want to pursue in your career so be open-minded and explore as much as possible!
2. Build your resume
There are various tips available online on how to build a great resume. I recommend you to start by picking 1 role that you want to apply for and work backwards. What does "work backwards" even mean right? Look at the Job Description of the role you want to apply for, and list down the skills, attributes and traits that they are looking for. Now, with these attributes, try to tailor your resume to fit them. For instance, if you want to try applying for a Consulting role and it requires a Problem Solving skill, do make sure you insert an experience that showcases some Problem Solving. Inserting the word "problem solving" along is not enough. Always SHOW.
3. Networking
Fresh graduates tend to shy away from networking but it's very crucial especially if you want to consider taking up a role that is less common for a Chemical Engineering graduate. Start with Linkedin or online career fairs to know more people and potential employers.
