Daria’s Answer

Differentiating yourself goes beyond experience. Make a list of what your unique skills are, what do you bring to the table? How do you make an impact on others? Sure, experience helps to provide some level of qualifying a candidate, but it's not just about what they have done. Most important these days is what CAN you do? Craft a story about yourself that brings all of this together to communicate and shine your light bright. This will differentiate you.

If you truly passionate and energetic about the job, company or industry where you want to get a job it may help you to get noticed by recruiters and hiring manager. Additionally it's great to be creative and thinking out of the box in sharing what you could offer as a candidate if you will be selected for the role.

Dannon’s Answer

In my experience, people tend to be a little too conservative it what they consider "experience." Think a little more broadly about your experience, not just those things you have done that you have been paid for. Consider your volunteer, student involvement, projects (school projects and others). There really is no reason you cannot have experience if you think of your experiences in this way.

Why do you feel you can be successful without "experience?" There must be something you have done for you to have that confidence. And whatever it is might be appropriate to include on a resume or as proof that you can be successful.
