Hello Jose M and your Student Team Members! Thanks for your question! " What kind of personality types would work best in the medical field?"
We read your hashtags = doctor; medical; ( I added my idea here as you put in a spare hashtag #) healthcare; emergency-room; work; student.
We began our search on the web at "Microsoft Bing" Bing very kindly sent me 71,600,000 results ! We choose the first one on the list!
https://www.ameritech.edu/blog/5-personality-traits-healthcare-needs/
We decided to make a full-list of all what we learnt as we read through 12. heading and then we made notes in our Student note books:
1. We need Great Communication Skills..
2. We need Empathetic and Emotional Stability...
3. We need to be Healthy and Physically Strong...
4. We need to pay Attention to Detail...
5. We need to maintain a Flexible Personality...
6. We are learning how Ameritech College of Healthcare can help us reach our Career Goals...
7. We are learning how to request information and how to ask for assistance to move forward in healthcare...
8. We are Reading & Writing Notes about Healthcare Programs...
9. We are Reading & Writing about popular resources...
10. We are Reading and Writing about Financial Assistance...
11. We are Reading & Writing about life at Ameritech...
12. We are Reading & writing about Logins...Locations...Careers...College...Catalog...Transcript Requests...Privacy...Consumer-Information...Complaints...Annual-Security-Reports...Drug & Alcohol Prevention Programs...Title 1X Policy...Encryption-Instructions...etc.

Hello,
I am currently working in the medical field as a respiratory therapist. I think personality traits that best fit someone looking to work in the medical field include the following: hard-working, patient, kind, innovative, devoted, empathetic, motivated, etc. I think the biggest thing about working in healthcare is that you have to be willing to continue learning. There are constantly new evidence-based practice guidelines and research that will challenge you to learn more and change your practice.
