Asking questions on this site is a great way to get helpful information on your career. Could you share with us what your passionate about? Once you do that, then depending on the field of interest and questions you might be able to connect with someone on this site to provide you advice.

Tonya’s Answer

Hi Dey’ja,
For next steps you should consider is which is truly my passion? How do I develop my passion through training and education? With the wide range of interest, you can also prepare for a backup plan or Life’s Plan B option. Remain focused on what you are trying to accomplish and what type of life you are visioning for yourself. Search income possibilities to make sure that field would give you the life you desire. Local law enforcement salaries are low to moderate, which mean you would need a vision for a low to moderate lifestyle. Hold fast to your dreams as they will come true, when you do the best that you can possibly do (Michael Wynn)

Christen’s Answer

Hi Dey'ja,

You seem to have many varying interests: Dance, Law Enforcement, Accounting . . .
That is wonderful actually.

But for your advanced education and career training, I feel it's important to go deep in one area -- at least one area at a time.
You are very young, and these days, people are fortunate enough to have very long working lives . . . . I feel like I don't even know anyone who stuck to just one career all their life. In other words, you will have plenty of opportunities to change your mind and change careers.

But right now, it's important to pick one focus! It's important to go deep, become an expert, or demonstrate success in one area first.
You'd be amazed how that first success will set a pattern for your life, build self confidence, and free you to change course when the time is right.

Hope that resonates with you.
Best of luck in your soul search as you select the direction of that first step!
Cheers!

Hi! It would help a lot if you'd mention your passions and interests. What do you enjoy doing? What subjects to you feel you are good at? Do you do any volunteering, did you join any clubs?

Tejaswini’s Answer

Hi,
You could start by searching on topics that fit in the areas that you are passionate about and find links to which field(s) that your interests lie and proceed from there.
