Hanya’s Answer

In order to prevent burnout, it is extremely important to set time aside for yourself! Taking at least an hour during the work can prove extremely beneficial to you! I would also recommend decluttering your workspace of anything that stresses you out! Another helpful tip is keeping a to-do list of all the things you want to accomplish!

Bryan’s Answer

Sometimes the best way to improve oneself is to ask others around you what their perceptions of you are then. We often can't understand the impact we're having on others when only considering our perspective. It requires courage for sure, but it's very very helpful. It's also great to do some dreaming about who you'd like to become then build a summary plan to get there. Starting with a baby step or two toward the goal is always the best way to start toward the goal!

Bryan recommends the following next steps:

Consider asking 2 or 3 friends that you trust to share their feedback on the kind of person you are and what their thoughts of you are.
Consider also sharing your goals and dreams with friends so they can help you build a plan and baby step or two to get here!

Dana’s Answer

Hi! Can you offer more details about what you want to know?
I believe that in order to self-improve, you need to:
1. Learn
Learn something new, technical or non-technical. Learn something you think you will enjoy, or something that will help you at school or your every-day activities. Through learning, you develop yourself, you can meet new inspiring people and you can become more confident!
2. Work
If you are consistent with your work and you make at least one small step every day, it will help you achieve what you want, for example: getting a job, learning to do something very well, going to university etc.
3. Relax
Don't forget to take breaks and relax, do something you enjoy!

Suggestions on activities that help you develop yourself:
- Learn a new language on websites like Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com/)
- Learn other things online, on websites like Khan Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org/)
- Do sports
- Learn how to cook different recipes
- Read books or articles

Please let me know if you have other questions, hope I helped! <3

Erin’s Answer

1. Honesty
2. Baby steps.

Change occurs constantly. It is easy to read a book and adopt a new strategy but adopting new strategies without understanding who you are leads to you putting on someone else’s persona. My advice would be to truthfully reflect on yourself (Perhaps a strength, opportunity, weakness, talent) analysis. If you find you are not as self-aware as you would like, identify others that you trust to perform this same analysis of you.

Once you know areas you want to become better at – look for other resources (people who are strong in these areas, books, etc.) and find elements that you can adopt and customize to your personality. Smaller steps will have more success and likely be better sustained… introduce one until you can sustain it and then find another small tweak to make yourself better.

NOTE: Your question, itself, shows you are on the right path!
