U.S. News and World Report annually publishes listings of the best colleges in the Country. Personally, I will put a "plug" in for my Alma Mater, the University of Washington. This is one of the top-rated universities in the country and its Engineering School supports a broad array of engineering departments. Equally important, its host city, Seattle, supports one of the strongest economies in the Nation. Graduates from the UW Engineering School are in high demand.
