Jon’s Answer

A degree in entrepreneurship is a good choice for those interested in working as a real estate agent. When you get an entrepreneurship degree, you get an overview of the skills required to launch a business. Entrepreneurship degree plans cover law, marketing, business, accounting and more.

Caroline’s Answer

Hi!

I would consider International Business. It is similar to entrepreneurship in the sense that it will include accounting, finance, marketing, economics, and more. A more general Business Administration major could also be helpful if schools you are looking at do not offer International Business or entrepreneurship. Best of luck in your college search!

Cosmina’s Answer

Hi John,

This is a great question. Glad you are thinking ahead of time. Suppose you are looking to get into business and real estate. In that case, I'd recommend doing something in Sales or Business Administration if the college you are attending has a real estate class or major that is even better. If not, you could also do finance to gain knowledge that would help you. Business Administration covers a variety of skills needed to succeed in real estate. You would learn how to be successful in your verbal and written communication skills and budgeting and business ethics. I hope this helps! Best of luck.

Karen’s Answer

It depends on what the college you attend offers. The University of Florida has a real estate minor program that you can work on while majoring in business administration, management, finance, or even something outside of the business school.
