Joanne’s Answer

First and foremost, you need to go to college. Pick a major that will help you with writing because a lot of what we do in law is write. So become a History major, English, Writing, etc. At some point during college, try interning in the field that most interests you. It's a good way to see what you really want to do. I hope this helps!

You want to do well and you hopefully will if you enjoy your major. There were all sorts of degrees in my law school class including engineering, finance, accounting, marketing, nursing etc. To get into the best law schools you want good grades but you also want to learn and do something you enjoy.

Richard’s Answer

To go to law school, you need to get an undergraduate degree. College grades matter to get into law school so you will want to do well. The LSAT is the law school admission test. There are prep books or you can take a course. Law school is 3 years. You can take the Bar exam after 2.5 years though and then finish school. The Bar is offered in February and July.
