Daniel’s Answer

(Assuming you're in the US, and also assuming that northridge = LA)

For CompE specifically I'm not sure, but you can look for Unis that have both good EE and Comp Sci programs and go from there.

The top of the list is probably something like:

MIT
CalTech
Stanford
CMU
Berkeley

Some other good options would be like
Georgia Tech
UMich (Ann Arbor)

Honestly if you want to stay local, UCLA would be a fine choice. Many of the other big state schools will also be reasonable (Washington, Wisconsin, Penn, etc).

If you're looking to apply - don't only apply to top schools. Apply to others as well, and apply to some that'll give you in-state tuition. (If you're in Northridge, LA, that's somewhat envious because you got Berkeley, UCLA, etc).
