Work with your school's career development department. They should be able to help with internships or possible alumni in your field that want to help.

Hi Carissa!
Here's usually how I go about getting internships/jobs and its worked every single year for my college career. I was even able to secure an internship at a Fortune 100 company freshman year (part of it is luck and hustle).
1.) Referrals from friends/family (gets you in the door to pass initial round)
2.) Career fairs/job fairs
3.) Cold emailing/calling
The best source is actually the friend group around you! They can forward your resume directly to whoever is hiring and the hiring manager usually feels a little warmer to you since you know someone within the company. Its the number one way you can get jobs and I've had a very high sucess rate with it. Career fairs are great as well but you might get lost in the dozens of resumes the person will read. Best way to set yourself apart is to be extremely social and have a great attitude. People often remember who is upbeat and willing to put themself forward.
Last thing is cold emailing/calls/resume drops. The most difficult way to get a job is through this avenue. Its really tough but its worked for some people. Good luck with your search! I would read up on how to make first impressions. Its essential when you interview and in general whenever you meet people.
