Which post secondary school is best to gain a masters in Physics?

I'm curious on what others view as the best post secondary school to gain a masters in Physics. The Physics department in some of the post secondary schools in my state are that interesting or are quite small. I need more ideas. #science #physics #masters-degree

Vernon’s Answer

Good question. The most "famous" schools for physics degrees are Cal Technical and MIT. You couldn't lose by going to Case-Western in Cleveland, or Princeton in New Jersey either. Georgia Tech in Atlanta has been graduating great engineers for a long time.

All of the above schools are expensive, especially for out-of-state students. Make sure you have top grades and plenty of scholarship potential.

Mark’s Answer

There's nothing wrong with Vernon's answers, but I'll add a few more schools to consider for high achievement in Physics:
• Princeton
• Stanford
• U of California—Berkeley
• Northwestern
• U. of Chicago
• Cornell
• Columbia U.
