Lily’s Answer

Learning Architecture involves the understanding of not only the aesthetic existence of a space but also how functionally viable or comfortable it is according to standard human dimensions. You should firstly start scanning the works of notable architects and sketching one architectural space daily from your observation. Most importantly , get enrolled in an Architecture college as they will guide you through a structured curriculum which will help you grasp the dynamics of the profession and provide you stimulus for application of the acquired skills.
Thank you comment icon For me, although I'm not interested in architecture as a career, I also enjoyed the same things you did, building on minecraft, etc... My high school had a multi-year architecture and design course where I learned a lot about the concepts of architecture, the basic laws and building codes involved and the very technical processes involved with each step, as well as CAD. Does your school or college have anything similar? I'd try to find some sort of class for that to kind of dip your feet into the water and if you find that it's for you I would talk to the person teaching that class for more information and details! Good Luck! Vicky
