Somak’s Answer
The brain craves natural, whole, unprocessed, and healthy foods. Anytime you can have meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and legumes your brain will be happy.
However, the brain especially loves food high in healthy fats (Omega-3s) . Here are my favorite choices -
1) Fatty fishes - salmon, trout, sardines
2) Coffee (without a lot of added sugars)
3) Turmeric
4) Berries
5) Broccoli
6) Nuts
7) Eggs

Jennifer’s Answer
Most of my research has stated the top 3 "brain foods" are more about what they contain versus the food.
Foods that contain omega-3 are really good for brain power. You can get this healthy fat from fish such as Salmon, Mackerel, Tuna, Herring, and Sardines. Honestly, to me, not many of those sounds too great, but you can also get this from nuts such as pumpkin seeds, almonds or sunflower seeds.
If you love chocolate like I do, choose dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Dark chocolate has been found to help with memory and learning. This is great, just remember not to eat too much.
Since it is summer, you might also eat berries such as strawberries and blueberries.
