You might want to start looking for jobs in the Entertainment Industry. Specifically in the Visual Effects (VFX) area. After Effects is not only used for video editing, but also for adding professional-level visual effects in post-production. You might want to explore a career as a Visual Effects Artist, for instance, and start searching for studios that do this sort of thing for the film industry.
By the way, it's probably a good idea to learn other VFX tools too. Chances are you might find a job, but the studio offering to hire you might be using a different set of tools.
Learn other VFX/Video Editing tools, like Blender
Find VFX studios and check their job postings to see what skills you might need to develop
Look for job postings in the film industry to see how people use these tools

There are a good amount of careers that call for motion graphics. I would suggest looking into any career that involves marketing and/or branding. There are a lot of companies that have brand elements that are stagnant, but have the potential to take their brand further visually. In order to build and expand their brand, it is important for brands to take the extra step in marketing themselves. Visual look and feel is a large part of a brands. Good Luck!
